This is the first time that I have been able to get on.  Glad to hear that Mike is doing so good.  He’s tough!  Steven, where does the time go, we are very proud of you and all that you have accomplished.    Tom will be finishing up his schooling also?  The best of luck to you both.  Mary Al you sure have beautiful grandchildren…  I will be sending a picture of my grandchildren.  It was taken a year ago, and they have grown a lot since then.

It’s your friend neighborhood administrator again. Glad to see that so many people are up and running on this and hopefully it will grow as more people realize just how cool it is.

 A quick life update, merely because I’m excited and want to tell as many people as possible:

I start my final semester of school on Tuesday (the 14th) and hopefully if all the planets align will graduate in May.

The human body is really an amazing thing…

My dad, at 53 years old or so, had hip replacement surgery on Wednesday morning. He is doing well and the surgery was a success but of course there will be a lot of rehab.

What amazes me is that twice today, a little more than 24 hours after surgery he was up and walking around (6 steps but still).

The human body (not to mention the minds that come up with these kinds of things) is really amazing.

Mike K is having hip replacement surgery on Wednesday 01/09.  Just wanted to let you all know.  As soon as I can I will let you all know how he is doing.
